Spiaggia dei Lavori
The Spiaggia dei Lavori, also known as Cava Davanzali, takes its name from the owner of the quarry, Cesare Davanzali (1895-1958) and was one of the first quarries from which the white stone of the Conero was extracted. Evidence of this includes the ruins and remains of the small train tracks that reached the pier and can still be seen along the beach.
It is reachable only by sea:
- with boats that depart during the summer from Spiaggia San Michele in Sirolo, from the Porto di Numana and from Marcelli di Numana.
- with canoes, SUPs and other small vessels that can be rented at all the bathing establishments in Sirolo at Spiaggia Urbani and San Michele-Sassi Neri.
